In an interview with Elle Magazine (found via DListed), blonde Jessica Simpson said that when she saw the movie The Notebook – on an airplane – she realized that she an ex Nick Lachey weren’t meant to be.
Dlisted makes a good point… the flight should’ve instead shown The Dukes of Hazzard, so she could realize what a crappy actress she is.
Although there isn’t any real explanation given, it seems that her divorce from Nick Lachey is finally getting to Jessica Simpson. She’s been suffering from panic attacks (I think that’s a bit exaggerated) and depression and even agoraphobia, allegedly.
Really, Jessica? Now? You’ve been separated for over a year!! It’s just now hitting you that what was a sham of a marriage is done with? Get over it!!

There’s rumors going around that Jessica Simpson and her father are going to start up a chain of Daisy Duke BBQ restaurants. The story goes that it was the dad, Joe Simpson, came up with the business plan and, using Jessica’s money of course, will kick off the venture with a restaurant at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
He’s gone as far as forcing Jessica to make 5 appearances per year at the restaurant.
I haven’t decided yet if I’ll be posting tomorrow, given it’s a holiday. If I do it’ll be a bonus hi-res post. We’ll see. In either case, everyone have a good Labor Day!
