Singer Kelly Clarkson is scheduled to help Al Gore spread the word of caring for the environment this summer as a performer in a series of concerts. “Live Earth”, expected to have 7 concerts worldwide in unison, may make its US appearance from the front lawn of the US Capitol building… assuming a resolution with such details passes the vote in the Senate and House of Representatives. There’s been quite a few articles going around (most of them from the same source :P ) about reality television “stars” and how the only real celebrity to come out of reality TV is American Idol’s Kelly Clarkson.
As much as I agree with that I also know for a fact that most reality shows don’t care about generating celebritydom, so that would explain why reality “stars” only get 15 minutes of fame.
I found it funny how this metal rock group kept saying “the lead singer from Yellowcard” because they didn’t know his name. Funnier yet that it doesn’t look like Kelly Clarkson didn’t tell them either :P
So this video clip is of Kelly rocking out at a performance of some group called Metalskool. Seems like she knows how to have a good time and doesn’t have so many inhibititions :)
It’s always a good idea to have a wide-angle lens in case you’re shooting pictures in a tiny room. But if you’re in a large hallway and you’ve got one of the currently popular singers, like Kelly Clarkson, have some common sense and don’t use a wide-angle lens. It makes people look like midgets. I found this article yesterday about how Kelly Clarkson is getting a convention.
WHY? She’s been popular for all of what, 3, 4 years? And technically speaking, it wasn’t so much because of her talent, it’s because she won a freakin’ contest! Dont’ get me wrong, she’s beautiful and I actually like 1 or 2 of her songs despite hating pop music, but she doesn’t deserve an entire convention. Sorry.
