Back in 2001 a guy was charged with stalking Nicole Kidman and was ordered to stay way from her for 3 years. Now instead of stalking women, he’s talking the Naomi Campbell approach and throwing things at their face. For that he just got sentenced to 7 years in prison for assault.
Although this particular incident has nothing to do with Nicole Kidman, the article I found it on did have a funny quote from the stalker back when he was originally given the restraining order; “I wrote her a letter. I went by her house to ask to take her to the ballet and to take her kids to ice cream. That’s it.”
Oh, is that all? Why would a popular married celebrity be frightened by a stranger who shows up at her door who wants to take her out and give the kids ice cream??
Last night, actress Nicole Kidman was involved in a car crash while filming her upcoming sci-fi movie Invasion (based on Invasion of the Body Snatchers).
It seems that the car she was in, a stunt car rigged to the back of a truck, made too wide a turn and slammed into a street pole.
No one was seriously hurt, mainly due to the rig the car was in. Nicole Kidman walked away shaken but without any harm. Of course, being the idiot I was, when I found out about this my first thought wasn’t “I wonder if Nicole is okay”, it was “they’re still filming Invasion??? They’ve been filming that for like 2 years!!”
First update is for Nicole Kidman, who was reunited with husband Keith Urban after Keith finished his alcoholic rehab treatment earlier this week. The pair were spotted together leaving a movie studio in Sydney, Australia.
Does this mean anything regarding the alleged cheating Keith did behind Nicole Kidman’s back? They didn’t say anything about it or Keith’s treatment. So I guess we’ll have to hold out for a while to see what the heck is going on.
Next update is for everyone’s favorite trailer trash, Britney Spears, who’s making headlines in US Weekly right now. Last week Britney was spotted at Les Deux in Hollywood demanding that the house DJ play her songs. The DJ kept blowing her off but eventually caved in and played one, but was smart to follow it up with Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River”.
US Online also claims that Britney Spears was so drunk she threw up all over the bathroom. You know, on second thought, I think Britney IS a good mother… after all, would you rather she kept drunk and throw up at a club or in front of her kids? :P

So first Nicole Kidman has to deal with her weirdo of a husband Tom Cruise. Then she dealt with her new husband Keith Urban’s alcoholism. Now it seems Keith cheated on Nicole while they were engaged. Some no-name model told a UK newspaper that she did the deed with Keith Urban multiple times and right up to their wedding.
“I feel sorry for Nicole,” she says. If that’s true, why’d she screw Keith in the first place??? Everyone knew he was going to get married to Nicole Kidman. Dumb blonde…
As previously mentioned, Nicole Kidman topped this year’s list of the highest-paid actresses with her $17million check for The Invasion. Here are the next nine women rounding out the top 10.
Reese Witherspoon, Renee Zellweger, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz each scored $15mil paychecks for their movies.
Halle Berry made $14mil per movie, which is amazing considering she hasn’t made anything good in a while. Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie each made $10mil per picture. Last but not least are Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Aniston, who both got paid $8mil per movie.
In a special issue of The Hollywood Reporter coming out December 5th, a list of the 100 highest-paid women of 2006 will be published, and at the top of that list is Aussie actress Nicole Kidman, who snagged the highest single paycheck for her role in the upcoming movie The Invasion at a cool $17million.
